Welcome to artist-owned Centre St Arts Gallery LLC (CSAG), dedicated to promoting the work of two dozen local artists.

Members work in a variety of media, from oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolor to sculpture in wood, stone and handmade papers and fiber. CSAG also offers a wide selection of artist cards and unframed original works.

The Centre St Arts Gallery LLC (CSAG) is an artist-owned and -operated gallery located in the heart of downtown Bath, Maine, at 11 Centre Street. 21 member artists work in a variety of styles, from abstract to representational. On display are paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, tempera, ink, and mixed media; sculptures in wood, stone and clay; and fiber arts.

Nine artists founded the Gallery in December 2012 and welcomed eleven associate artists to join them. Each artist is personally selected for his or her unique style through a rigorous jurying process. Since its first show in December 2012, CSAG has opened a new member show at least every two months and sponsored other events for patrons of the arts.

The 21 current artists at CSAG work cooperatively to support the gallery and each other. They encourage each other’s artistic development, exploration and experimentation through constructive critiques and sharing information on art techniques and opportunities. Each artist also contributes time to ensure smooth gallery operations.

The Gallery also holds community events that bring together art forms (such as poetry, music and painting), works with local high schools to encourage youth artistic development, and partners on events with the local business community.
