Tara Dixon is an abstract painter who also has an affinity for making representational watercolors. Her love of color is evident and she often combines other elements in her work. Having a passion for where sky meets land or water, a “horizon” often appears in her work. After graduating from Connecticut College, she studied at the Art Students League for four years and maintained studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Fairfield, CT and now at Fort Andross in Brunswick, ME. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections.
