My work has been described as playful, colorful, moody, loose and experimental. I paint often and enjoy trying new techniques. When I was a child, I loved mixing concoctions. I made ink from berries and created new colors from my mother’s lipsticks and nail polishes. How lucky I am to still be able to delight in the same sorts of basic pleasures! This is not to say that I don’t take art seriously. I paint with a plein air group and have benefited by taking comprehensive classes. I plan to paint until the very end!
