I have spent my life surrounded by the natural beauty of the outdoors. Growing up in the woods of Concord, Massachusetts, and living near Popham Beach, Maine, for over 35 years, nature has always been my sanctuary.

I am a largely self-made artist with some formal training at New England schools and associations. However, my decades spent immersed in nature, whether that be gardening, hiking, biking, or canoeing, have been my best teacher.

Now living in Bath, I have adopted a simpler lifestyle that allows me the freedom to paint full-time and capture the sense of peace and relaxation I feel outdoors. Working in oils, pastels and sometimes watercolors, I try to make each of my compositions an expression of my feelings and emotions of both real and imagined places.
