I love to be outside most times of the year and love to paint outdoors as much as I can. Midcoast Maine provides inspiration in its woods and streams, ponds and pathways, coastal waters and working waterfronts, weather and topography, and above all its special light. My father was a home builder and I seem to have a need to include architectural elements as well as the natural in my compositions.
Before moving to Maine, I won awards in NJ, both local and statewide. Since moving to Maine, I’ve been in many local juried shows and now have my own place to paint, Stonewall Studio, for when it’s nasty outside.
I may be reached at livyglaubitzart.com. Additional work is at www.livyglaubitzart.com.
