Claudette is a pastel artist who is drawn to light and atmospheric conditions that create a magical moment.

Her definition of creativity is to enter the unexpected, the mystical and informational—a communication, relationship and dialogue with her inner intuitive voice. She finds that working with subjects that she is passionate about. Layering pastels up to thirty layers using the proper materials brings a dialogue which becomes her meditation for soul expression. Her wish is for the viewer to experience the same.

She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Society of Maine, and CT Pastel Society. She is also a member of the Master Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies.
